Kery Maddox
Music Producer and Songwriter
Kery has been playing, writing, and recording music for more than 20 years. He began his music career as a drummer for live, touring, and recording sessions. While attending college for music and computer science he developed a love for leveraging technology to enhance live performances and recording sessions. He began to build systems and leverage digital technologies in live performance, mixing, and recording that enhanced the sound and brought an extra dimension to the music and performances. Utilizing computers, programming, samplers, digital recording, digital mixing, and effects processing he produced unique sounds and textures for music productions starting in the late 80’s. These techniques mixed with the analog world produced a better sound quality while still maintaining the fat sound of the analog world. Leveraging that experience in the modern world of DAW music production allows Kery to produce music that brings the artist musical vision alive with the warmth a character of analog recoding while providing the flexibility of the modern toolset. Kery has represented and worked with major industry brands Tascam, Presonus, Event Electronics, Rode Microphones, Genelec, PRS Guitars, and DOD/Digitech. He is a member of the Audio Engineering Society, Dallas Songwriters Association, and BMI.
